Our rooster corner is in the SW corner of the SE Quarter of section 19 in Miner Township. Milton Felix lived in the NE quarter and Dauna and Ray across the road in the SE Quarter of 3; our hunting group owns both of these SE Quarters and will own the NE someday--the creek runs thru there before crossing the road to the south. a lot of times ther are quie a few pheasants in this little 3-4 acre patch.---anyway one time I was blocking on the NE corner of this patch and shot 7 roosters myself and I belive the best the group ever killed was just ove 20--more than that have gotten away several times when we were under armed or under shelled or unorganized---but you usually are guaranteed that there will be at least one rooster in there at any time. I think Jim Dahl gave it the name "rooster corner' and now Roger is labeling his home made beer with the above label (designed by Haley Anderson) dt
