Cecil Nelson

I am putting a message on from Cecil. He thanks everyone who sent a card or called for his 93rd birthday. He always enjoys the news from everyone. He sends birthday greetings to Joan also.
I took him up to church in Lead on Sunday. We had flowers on the altar- two bouquets to balance out the flower stands! and of course the congregation sang to him. He doesn't get up there very often as it wears him out- so he enjoyed visiting with everyone and they are getting better about telling him their name when they come up to him. Some he recognizes by voice. When I get a picture I will have my daughter scan it. My scanner is down right now.
He got lots of calls on Monday and last night- Wed- Wanita and family were going to visit him.
Healthwise, he is doing very well. His sight keeps him close to home and probably bored at times, but I do try to get him out to eat and to the store 3 or 4 times a week. We have good visits. The books on tape are a blessing.
I have been printing off the letters that are posted. He can't see the pictures so I don't do that.
Have a great day!
