Two weekends ago I was in Chicago for a cubs game and when I stepped off the bus someone yelled Threadgold. It was one of Thomas' friends from Notre Dame.
I can remember Grandma T seeing Nancy Fitzgerald Roberts at an interstate rest area. Grandma and Grandpa were on their way to Boston I think. Nancy and family were on their way to Baltimore.
Dale is watching a Yankees game. This is the last game in their field and they are interviewing a couple of the past players. When they were talking about Roger Maris (sp??), I remembered how surprised and impressed I was to see his grave near where Grandma T's sister and husband are buried in Fargo.
Josh shook hands with Brock Lesnar and Sybil (from wrestling) at the Harley shop in Jamestown this summer.
I ran into a college classmate from the U of Minnesota at the train station in Berlin, Germany. Very odd to see a familiar face in another country! Erin
