PARKINSONS UNITY WALK!!

Audrey Threadgold Update
HI! I just talked to Audrey and she got out the hospital Saturday night the 5th. After several tests they put in a pacemaker (determined her heart was only beating 30 beats/minute--it should be 60-80-/minute). So she is at home, sore but sounding good. Kathie

News about Audrey Threadgold
HI! Lynn, Audrey's daughter, just called to tell me that Audrey had a heart attack last night, April 2nd. Harlyn took her into McKennan and they confirmed it. They are doing tests this morning as to what will happen next. Just to let people know. Kathie

snow day
We have our first snow day of the 2007-8 school year at Grant-Deuel in Revillo, SD. We have not had much snow the past few winters. Teachers and students are enjoying a day off. Hayley wanted a chocolate angel food cake for her birthday. I did not have time to bake one so she had one from dairy queen that she shared with Keeda and Hannah and one from Culvers. Today I had spare time, so I made a square one and put it on Grandma's cake plate. It looked and tasted good even though it had the powdered sugar frosting that my family likes better than the kind grandma made. Anyway, Hayley, Dale, and I enjoyed it. Dale has to go to Aberdeen to watch Keegan tomorrow night. They will go out with Hannah for her birthday during her supper hour.
